Medicare: your questions.
What are the two main ways to receive Medicare coverage?
The main paths are Original Medicare or a Medicare Advantage plan. With Original Medicare, people may separately consider Part D and Medigap. The paths differ in networks, cost sharing and how additional coverage fits.
Can Medicare choices affect my doctor and pharmacy access?
Yes. Advantage and Part D plans have plan-specific networks and coverage rules. Original Medicare has different provider arrangements. Compare your own providers and prescriptions using current official information.
Does a Medicare information request enroll me in a plan?
No. An inquiry, permission to contact, Scope of Appointment and enrollment are distinct steps. Mave’s general form does not enroll you or authorize a plan change.
Where can I compare all Medicare options independently?
Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE provide official information. Your State Health Insurance Assistance Program can also offer assistance. An agency’s available plan selection may be narrower than the full market.
